Aureflam Corporation hopes to add eight stores in 2007, and ten more in 2008, bringing its total number of restaurants close to 70. Pho Hoa will appear in states in which it currently has locations, as well as the as-yet unexplored states of Arizona, Colorado, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Minnesota and Oregon. The company’s success in Canada has not gone unnoticed, either, and the company will continue to expand throughout to the United States’ neighbor to the north.
Locations the company will consider are in community strip centers, downtown business districts, mixed-use centers, neighborhood strip centers. Typical square footage ranges from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet, with a minimum frontage of thirty feet. Preferred lease terms are ten years with two five-year options. Special site requirements consist of location in a residential area with heavy traffic and high employee density.

Globe Restaurant Group, operator of 13 pizza restaurants, is cooking up a major expansion push for the next few years. The five-star pizza chain has been operational since January 1993, when it opened its first Goodfellas Brick Oven Pizza Restaurant in Staten Island, NY. Since that time, the company has won various awards and accolades from magazines, contests and customers, including former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The restaurants, which offer “New York Italian”-style dishes and pizza, can be found in five states (Connecticut, Indiana, North Carolina, New Jersey and New York) and Puerto Rico. At any location choose from a variety of lunch or dinner entrees like eggplant, chicken, veal or shrimp parmigiana or various pasta dishes, sandwiches and soups. Or try what made the chain famous: its old-world style or traditional New York pizza.
Globe Restaurant Group is looking to open a total of 6 new stores in 2004, 10 in 2005 and 15 in 2006 in all current states of operation and Puerto Rico; in addition, the company also considers expansion in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and Washington, DC. Leases typically run 15 years with two five-year options.
New locations may pop up in community and neighborhood strip centers, central business districts, enclosed regional and super regional malls, freestanding sites, lifestyle centers, outlet centers, pad sites and power centers. All co-tenants will be considered. Sites average 2,000 to 7,000 sq. ft, with a minimum frontage of 20 ft.
Preferred demographics include 75,000 people and 25,000 households in a five-mile radius.
