Dixie Lee Food Systems, Ltd. trades as Dixie Lee Chicken and Seafood at 80 locations throughout NY and Canada.  The restaurants occupy spaces of 2,000 sq.ft. in freestanding locations, malls and strip centers.  Plans call for 10 openings nationwide and throughout Canada during the coming 18 months.  Typical leases run 10 years.  A vanilla shell is required.  Preferred cotenants include food stores.  Preferred demographics include a population of 10,000 within two miles earning $60,000 as the average household income.  The company is franchising.
