Automotive Technologies, Inc. trades as Wireless Zone at  287 locations throughout AL, AR, CT, DE, FL, IA, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, TX, VA, VT and Washington, DC. The stores, selling cellular phones along with satellite TV, VOIP and wireless internet products, occupy spaces of 600 sq.ft. to 1,400 sq.ft. in power and strip centers and malls, as well as freestanding locations. Growth opportunities are sought throughout the existing markets during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run five years with one- or two-year options. A vanilla shell is required. Preferred cotenants include Home Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Starbucks, Target and Wal*Mart. Competitors include AT&T Mobility, Metro PCS, Radio Shack, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. The company is franchising.
